As I have been playing Sonic 3D Blast DX, I have not yet experienced any of the major bugs reported, such as the Tails Special Zone bug. I had even loaded a savestate reported to always lead to the bug, but in my game, no error occurred at all. This leads me to believe that the DX patch does not work with some versions of the ROM. That is why I am proposing that, with each documented bug, one provides an MD-5 Hash of their game ROM, before and after patching. This will help to narrow down the source of these errors.
How to find the MD-5 Hash of a file:
1) Download HxD Hex Editor: https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/
2) Open your ROM file in the editor and select Analysis > Checksums: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/315258983399161866/382522761500819467/unknown.png
3) In the box that pops up, select MD-5 and hit "OK": https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/315258983399161866/382523034772439043/unknown.png
4) At the bottom of your main window should be a drawer containing the MD-5 Hash: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/315258983399161866/382523427887513621/unknown.png
5) Copy the Hash, and also note the source of your ROM (*DO NOT LINK YOUR ROM FILE*) and the emulator/system you are using.
EX) [Bug name]:
System: Kega Fusion 3.64
Game Version: DX Beta v0.1
ROM Hash: Original: 50ACBEA2461D179B2BF11460A1CC6409
After: 8C0376D192819330946944EB2AA535B8
Source: http://store.steampowered.com/app/34278/Sonic_3D_Blast/
Savestate/Password: [Attatched savestate file]/[Password]
I hope this helps to resolve any bugs!
EDIT: If possible, include save states and game passwords as well with your bug report.
EDIT 2: Include the DX version of the game you are playing so it can be known which bugs are still present.
Just a reminder, please *DO NOT LINK THE ROM FILE YOU ARE USING*, only describe its origin. If it was purchased off of Steam, link the store page. If it was downloaded from a site for free or otherwise obtained illicitly, describe the source as being "a website", or maybe include the name, but please do not include links to the download page. If you ripped the file from a cartridge you own, report the source as that.
