Bug: Game locks when inputting password with Final Fight beaten.

So I beat the game with all the emerald. Figure i'd try some time trials and medal collection. Did a few, took a break, and turned on my system. Once I put in my password (Which btw is 6XBQ:ML349/), the game locks up on the level select menu.
EDIT: Still a problem in Version .3

EDIT 2: So I guess this can't be fixed unless someone has a CDX huh ? :( Damnit.

Same thing happened to me. I used a MD1 w/ 32X and MCD1. Then I removed the 32X and the same thing happened. Then I tried on my MD2, and it works. But I have to play with mono sound :(.
A bug like this also happens on the BlastEm emulator

Still hoping it can be fixed even thou it's apparently only done on the CDX. :\ Works fine with the model 1 and 2, and nomad at the moment.
Crap. Yep, it looks like a bug running on a CDX. ;( Thanks for testing. Hopefully it can somehow be figured out. :\
The password does not crash on a Sega Genesis Model 1 with no 32X and no Sega CD.
Hmmmmmm. So I just tested it now. As we know, it crashes with the 32X and CDX combination. So I tested it on my Sega Nomad, works fine. o_0 Then out of curiousity, I tested it on the CDX without the 32X, shockingly it crashed. This may actually be a CDX issue (Which is very bizarre because all my other physical cartridges and roms from my Everdrive work without any issues. But being that it works with the Nomad, Model 1 and 2 systems should be in the clear in theroy.
If I can ask anyone else playing this with physical hardware (Especially a CDX) can test the password out and confirm just to see. I know it's a total shot in the dark and there is a chance this might not get fixed, but i'm curious to see what comes out of this. Thank you for your time and keep up the awesome work on the hack. :D
I'll give it a shot when I get home. Yea, i've heard the 32x does have issues running games with higher memory (The Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 hack is one that won't work with the 32x.). What I usually do is try to run it on my Nomad worse case if it doesn't work (Hardware wise, it's the closest to having a model 2 unit.). If that fails as well, i'll disconnect the 32x and try from there (Just a pain to remove. :p). I'll keep you in the loop later tonight (Eastern time). Currently at work.
Yikes, that's not good. I do have an actual Sega Genesis console, but no Everdrive or alternative flash cart. Now, I don't know much about Sega hardware addons, but isn't the 32X something that gets added on? Maybe try running the game with different system/emulation configurations, such as removing the 32X?
Sadly yes. Just did it now, same thing. ;(
I entered your password, and am able to navigate through the map just fine with no visual errors. Is this problem recurring for you?
