What happened to the green floor tile change in Green Grove Zone that was highlighted in the Director's Cut Part 2 video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFbki9Y-r_4&t=21s

@Showin Did you ever get a chance to make that patch? Thanks

I'd do it for you and probably release it as a separate patch along with my permanent homing attack patch. It likely shouldn't be anything different from patching the game with the official dx patch.

I would need directions on how to do that. I am not technical.

If you want I can edit the rom and re-add the green tiles.

Thanks for the reply. In the video I reference, Jon said he was changing to green to more closely resemble original Sonic. Same idea with the tree designs. Too bad he reverted. I agreed with him part 2. :)

This was addressed in a later video, I can't remember which. Basically, if I'm recalling correctly, Jon decided (or agreed with feedback that) the original colour scheme looked better, though I'm pretty sure he said he'd also tweaked the lightness of the browns... he might have said it was to more closely match the original Green Hill Zone checkerboard pattern? However, my memory can be pretty awful, so take all of that with a boulder of salt.
